Power Automate is a cloud-based service from Microsoft designed to automate repetitive, manual tasks by connecting your favorite apps and services to create seamless workflows.

Specifically, Cloud Flows are the backbone of the platform - and they're almost certainly included in your current Microsoft license at your company.

They run entirely in the Microsoft cloud, triggered by events like a new email arriving or a SharePoint item being modified, but can also trigger on a schedule (ex: every Monday morning) or even from a click from a button on your phone.

Cloud Flows are known for being "low-code/no-code" - which means that you do NOT need to be a professional developer to create them.

Cloud Flows can really enhance your business processes, - let alone change the way you do work by saving hours of time and money.

This training is for business users and/or non-developer staff who are brand new to Power Automate Cloud Flows (or just somewhat familiar).

To be clear, though basic knowledge of data and even Excel formulas is helpful, participants do NOT need to know how to code or have any professional IT experience.

This training is 2 days, each day containing 4-5 hours of curriculum (including time for Q/A sessions)

They are typically held online through Microsoft Teams. Our trainers have significant experience in delivering both online and in-person trainings that are engaging, effective, and fun. 

Example: a day of training is 4-5 hours, starting at 9AM MST. A lunch break at 11:30 AM. Then the rests of the session from 12:30 AM - 3 PM

*Reminder: the sessions ARE recorded and available after the training.

To ensure the best experience and learning environment for students, we've found that 20-30 students maximum is very helpful - though we don't technically have a limit on the number of students.

For bigger classes, we do include a moderator to help manage the larger number of students and provide a better learning environment.

Once completed with this training, your team will be able to:

• Build the 3 types of automations - scheduled, automated, and instant cloud flows
• Connect their favorite apps - Make SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook talk to each other so that information moves automatically without you having to hit "copy and paste."
• Create Approvals - Design and create various types of automated approval process
• Architect Wisely - There's lots of ways to do the same thing. We'll cover best practices and considerations for many common types of automations
• Manage Errors - Automations can and do fail. But your team will know how to be notified and how to trou
• Troubleshoot Effectively - Troubleshooting until your flow works correctly is half the battle. Your team will know how to read and understand common errors effectively so they can get their flows up and running sooner.
• Stay Organized - They'll learn how to share and organize their flows so they don't end up with lots of "messy" automations.

To really help your team have the support they need to build great Power Automate Cloud Flows (and other Power Platform solutions), we'd recommend the following as add-ons:

• Monthly or weekly group mentoring sessions (including Q/A)
• One-on-one mentoring sessions with an expert to help app makers build their automations in the best way possible
